DreamLab – Solve cancer while you sleep

News By 2 years ago

Now more than ever, we have the power to change humanity with technology, and today we are helping cure cancer.

Over the last 5 years cancer has taken away many people close to me, and by the age of 80 just under half the people reading this will be impacted by the disease.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the DreamLab app for Android, a culmination of 2 years of hard work between b2cloud, Garvan Institute of Research, Vodafone Foundation and Amazon Web Services. DreamLab is Australia’s first Smartphone enabled supercomputer that lets your phone solve a piece of the cancer research puzzle.

Australia has some of the most talented researches anywhere in the world tackling the complex cancer puzzle. What is holding them back is the computational processing power they have available. With over 80% of Australian’s having access to a smartphone, we have unprecedented amounts of unused processing power available in our pockets. For every 1000 App users, cancer research is accelerated by 30 times.

Today is a very proud day for the b2cloud team. By using our imaginations, design excellence, world leading development skills and critical thinking we have played an important role in improving the lives of those around us using the power of mobile technology.

Please do your bit by downloading DreamLab from Google Play (available soon on iPhone as well.)
