iTunes App Store app transfer

Guides By 4 years ago

Finally Apple has given developers the ability to transfer an iOS app to another developer account.

This is a most welcome feature however in typical Apple style, the process is slightly tedious if you don’t know exactly what you are doing.

Before you commence the transfer process, make sure you have some key pieces of information handy to speed things up.

The process requires action both from the current developer as well as the recipient. Ensure that if you are the developer who is transferring the app away, you have the recipients Agent Apple ID and Team ID. The Agent Apple ID is the username/email address associated with the developer account you are transferring to. The Team ID requires the recipient to log in to the Apple Member Center to retrieve their information.

All the information you need can be found in this document I compiled.

Have you had a good or bad experience in transferring an app? Tell me about it in the comments below.
