It’s always difficult to start writing for a blog, and you have no idea how many ideas went through my head, BUT, I’m gonna stick to my experience here at b2cloud for now and we’ll see how the rest of the entries will go.
As a third year Marketing student who graduates in less than 10 months, I too fear the post graduation job hunt. Most companies hire Marketing graduates to run around and do admin works, arrange meetings and do all other stuff the administration office should do, and guess what? You don’t need a marketing degree to do that.
That’s why I believe that employers should allow graduates to take responsibility and give them space to grow. Get them involved with problems that come along and let them find solutions. After all every successful leader once had a mentor who showed them the way.
On the other hand, I have been given this great opportunity to work closely with a team of successful entrepreneurs who come from different backgrounds and have their own expertise.
This group spends hours under the same roof doing what they do best, and that is “being creative”.
First of all, everyone in this team has this never ending thirst for knowledge. Everyone’s always willing to learn new things; and others are always ready to give you a hand if you get stuck somewhere, I call that “exceptional enthusiasm”.
Second thing I like about b2cloud is that it lacks the traditional working environment feel. The fact that the “formal office protocols” are missing makes communication, collaboration and team work easier, hence making the intern (me, the little guy) to feel not so little.
There are many many other little things that I love about this team but I’ll leave it for another time.
So far, I have been given great responsibilities, great opportunities and have been treated like a real b2cloud family member.
I am proud to be part of this group, even for as little as three months.
